Do not allow any part to remain completely wet – paint will chip when wet.
Do not work with warm water. When heated, hot water stretches the metal faster than the paint, causing the paint to crack and/or flake off.
Use only a soft washcloth and soap for cleaning. We were lucky with the breaststroke on one side!
